Full Moon Bungalows, Big Buddha Beach
Booked the Christmas package and on arrival everything fine...lovely bar area and welcoming. However, one of the main reasons I booked the package was to go the party on Ko Phangan with inclusive speedboat. The owners had not researched the speedboat times and dates properly and I ended up not getting to the island because of their oversight. We were sitting with the owner ready to go to the party and we were told we could go whenever we wanted and when I said can we go now he said it looks like the boats are not going so we were stuck on Koh Samui. Very disappointing and shoddy organisation. The complimentary pick up also did not happen as my email detailing my whereabouts was not answered until i checked my email for the 3rd time that day upon arrival at the bungalow! The rooms were basic, no hot water which was shocking considering the price paid and my room was not cleaned or bin emptied the whole time I was there. I subsequently checked out a day early. Would not recommend anyone book a package with these people. The odd night would be fine if you know what you are coming to, but where the prices come from for the packages when you look at what you get it is a rip off. Other places down the road nearby are a far better deal and have hot water!

This place is awesome. The people who run it , Paul and Angela became family to us. I stayed here with my 4 daughters for a month and had nothing but an amazing time with them. The beach is amazing and Paul and Angela have advice for everything. Noc and Jam (barman and cleaner) are the best and for us it was almost impossible to leave! FullMoon Bungalows ROCK!!!!!!!

Very relaxed and easy going - warm welcome and very accomodating. Fairly basic accomodation, but reflected in the rate so no complaints. Free WiFi access excellent - so cool staying in touch from the beach front bar !!

The Full Moon Bungalows is a fantastic laid back retreat. Great location for travel to the main beaches and Full Moon Party. The personalised service and entertainment made the whole trip. The rooms are very neat and tidy, great value for money. Would recommend the Full Moon package to anyone. Absolutely Fantastic!!!

We appreciate warm welcome from Paul, great drinks on the beach and convenient location on Samui. Such as swiming at low tide and location nearby piers and the airport. It also fits to our back packers expectations. The rest of Samui is touched by a turist industry bit too much.

This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking at going to the Full Moon Party. Its much quieter than staying at the island. The staff were friendly and very helpful! The beach was right on the doorstep and was a brillant place to relax!

Absolutely loved it! Angela and Paul were so accommodating and really helpfull. The room was large, clean and quiet. Perfect place to watch the sunsets and literally right next to the pier for Full Moon party travel. Internet access within seconds and next door to a 7eleven! Would definitely go back again.

Had a fantastic stay here, rooms very clean and well looked after. Great atmosphere, chilled out and relaxing. Paul and Angela were great company and have some fantastic memories. The cocktails were the best i ve ever tasted and was very upset to leave. Feels like we made very good friends here and will be returning in the future. The place to stay for sunsets and listening to good tunes. Close to Full Moon Party. Paul & Angela put on a bbq and it was the best i ve ever had. Definately in Thai time here, highly reccommended to anyone looking for chilled out times and fantasic memories.

We stayed here for 1 week. We couldn t have chosen a better place in Samui to stay.Angela & Paul were excellent. The rooms were clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We had an excellent time here, chilled out and relaxed atmosphere and the best cocktails i ve ever had!! will
deffinately return in the future. Locals very friendly and really close for the Full Moon parties. Some great memories here

The hotel was clean, in a great location near Big Buddha beach and perfect for those going to the full moon party. The English couple running the hotel were very hospitable and welcomed you with a free drink. The rooms were large and comfortable.
On the evening of the full moon party the couple running the hotel organised a BBQ for all guests going to the party, they organised the boat passes to the island which made things much more relaxed. The boat across left just from the beach at the hotel which was very convenient.
Overall would definately recommend this to anyone preparing for the full moon party.
