Papillon Resort, Chaweng Beach
Malgr la pluie battante qui s est abbatue lors de nos 5 jours passs sur cette le, nous avons t trs satisfait de l hotel. Les grants franais sont trs sympas et leur personnel thalandais est galement trs bien.
Seul hic, deux chantiers sont des cts de l hotel avec des bruits de marteau de 9h 18h tous les jours. Si nous l avions sur nous aurions surement chang d hotel.

Polite staff, very good reservation scheme, good room conditions.
What is preferable is to add more channels, as now the channels are mostly on Thai language, only one channel is in English.
Final opinion - good level of provided services.

The resort is small and more personal and a bit away from main area in Chaweng Beach which was what we were after. Our villa was good and the staff are lovely and friendly. We enjoyed Koh Samui a lot better than the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. Next time we will go straight to Koh Samui.

Awesome! Down the nice quiet end of the beach. The food at the restaurant is really reasonable priced and really delicious! The free breakfast is good, not buffet but a wide range of options. The rooms were clean and pleasant. The pool is really nice and clean and well set up. The massages were great. Highly reccomended value for money. A short walk along the beach into town, just cut through a resort.

Nice and cosy place for Families;
But pool is to small and the water quality was not very good. Also the missing possibilities to step into the sea.
By ebb-tide you have to walk an long way!

Kudos all around for excellent food, friendly staff, and great value - especially for Chaweng. Gilles and his Thai co-manager are very forthcoming. The small pool and lack of beachfront may put some off, but we felt the trade-off was well worth it.

This was our second time at Papillon, we enjoyed the same beautiful surroundings as before: palm trees, orchids everywhere, lovely pool and jacuzzi, right by the sea. Friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, and good position if you have wheels - otherwise bit difficult to get downtown. If afraid of bugs, don t choose the standard bungalow, go for a superior or suite (we had a standard this year with huge spiders, black worms, and some undefined things, while last year no problems in the superior, except a gecco or two). Great value for money.

It s a very comfortable and quiet resort. It s a good place for relaxing. Especially the food in restaurant is very tasted for steam fish. And all people there is very friendly. Good place!

We had a fantastic stay at the resort. The Superior Bungalow was very spacious and clean, the water power was a bit rubbish but that is a small criticisms . Sak the Thai manger was a great person and I thoroughly recommend visiting his restaurant up the road. Would definitely stay again.
